A drama of two people who have nothing but themselves, yet find love and beauty and hope in a world that's all but passed them by. The story begins on a midsummer evening in New York, and on a bench in Central Park sits a young man - a sartorial sensation in evening clothes, complete with tails, Inverness cape, opera hat and cane. With grand nonchalance he is feeding the pigeons with a bag of popcorn, whilst glancing sideways at a young woman sitting at the opposite end of the bench.
