Encore Theater presented a series of plays telling in dramatic fashion of the achievements of the medical fraternity in improving man's condition in the world.

Lionel Barrymore stars as Dr. Bill Brown. The story, adapted from Kathryn Haviland-Taylor's novel, "Failure," deals with the sacrifices of a small-town doctor who set aside personal security for the welfare of the community.
