Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg
Broadcast: 24th September 1949
Added: Sep 21 2010
He was hungry the day he drifted in to that fine honest town of Hadleyberg but none of the fine honest citizens would offer him a heel from a loaf of bred. Why, because they don’t like bums in Hadleyberg, it was an honest place, incorruptible but it’s easiest enough to be honest when there are no temptations around. The man sets about corrupting the people of the town by putting temptation before them with a sack of gold coin and a strange request.
