Each of us has a sense of honor, although we don't talk about it, or perhaps even know we have it. Yet we know or feel that there are certain things that we simply would not do, say or even permit ourselves to think or feel. Things that would devalue us in our own eyes, cheapen us, degrade us, or make us less worthy of respect, and perhaps most of all self-respect, our most cherished possession.
