Two weeks before Mr Wilson arrived to take over the rooming house he had inherited from his late Aunt the housekeeper, had taken in a gentleman called Mr Fraser. He had paid two months rent up front and nobody had seen him since. On the night before the reporter came to rent a room a fourth murder had occurred, the papers were full of it and were calling the murderer the Executioner and said he killed only the helpless. As Mr Wilson read this in the paper the thought wouldn’t leave him, could it be Fraser, could it be the man in 206?
