As we look in on the little community of Pine Ridge, we find Lum staring vacantly out of the Jot 'em Down store window, as Abner tries to read a grocery list. Unfortunately for him Miss Rowena's name seems to be printed all the way through the list, so he tells Lum to pull himself together and stop pining after her.
