Well the war bond contest to elect the wife of Lum goes successfully on its way, and the Pine Ridge war savings staff co-chairmen are still not speaking to each other. Grandpappy Spears is helping Abner with the sale of bonds and the voting, whilst Lum has hired Cedric as his aid and secretary.
