Lum’s plan to have Abner talk Mousey in to hiring Lum as a delivery boy and general handy man didn’t turn out quite as he expected. Abner hired Mousey instead so Lum is still just an ex-partner in the store and very sorry that he ever signed over his share of the business to Abner.
