Lum's plan to restore Grandpappy Spears memory by letting a chandelier fall on his head didn't turn out so well. The chandelier landed on Lum's head by mistake, and the last we saw of him, he wasn't quite sure who he was either. Grandpappy however, came out of the evening uninjured, and continuing to think he is Buster V Davenport, salesman from Toledo.
