Lum has sure missed Abner this summer and has missed the Jot 'Em Down Store too. Now they need to get to business cleaning up the store after leaving it from July to November. Lum and Abner are chatting and realise they have been friends for a long time and haven't had an argument in all that time. Lum says it's been forty years but Abner is adamant it's been forty-five. Friends for so long and now they are arguing over how long they have been friends!
