Luigi is feeling very lonesome in America without his family and tonight he would even go out with Rosa. When he arrives home from night school Pasquale is rearranging his shop and when Luigi tries to help him he tells him to go home. Luigi is feeling so lonesome he tells Pasquale he is willing to talk about his daughter Rosa.
