After Lum and Abner failed to get anywhere with the magazine article they had been requested to write, author Lum took his pencil to write it as he thought it should be done, which probably meant three pages describing the number of feet of snow he walked barefoot through as a small child. Now all they need are some photographs to accompany the article.
