Two horsemen rode along the trail towards the small town of Milton. One was young, and although well-built and seemingly strong of body, his face showed a pallor that hinted at long confinement. The other man was much older and his features were hard and weather-beaten. The rode along for some time in silence, before deciding on a place to camp for the night.
