Long Distance was written and directed by newcomer to American radio, Harry W Junkin. Mrs. Leon Jacks is seated at a telephone table in her home and has phoned in some new evidence to the prison in an attempt to stay her husband’s execution. She has found a letter, which she claims proves her husband, is an innocent man. But the execution is due to go ahead in half an hour.
