The Little Murder Case opened with the killing of Walter Little, manufacturer, after he had surprised his killer in the act of opening a safe. Only two people knew that combination, Little himself and his secretary Dolly Lawrence. Miss Lawrence was engage to Dick Aikham the only man that Vance knows was in the building when Little was shot.
