Walter Bates was home from Pittsburgh to see his mother after six months but it wasn’t just to visit his dear old mother he was after $2000 in Bonds that his father had left her but she had already spent that bailing him out of trouble in the past. Walter was in trouble to the tune of $1500 and had to get the money by midnight tonight so he could be on the 12:20 train back to pittsburgh.
