Philip Marlowe was in his local bar run by Belle and all the usual regulars were then when this beautiful redhead walks over and asks for the darts. Philip Marlowe cannot help being attracted to her beauty and then when she hits a bull and barely missing Marlowes head Belle, impressed by the bullseye offers her a free meal on the house and with Marlowe. Her name is Monty Carr and she acts quite nervous, as she wasn’t strictly a free agent. Marlowe gives her a lift home and when they get arrive there is a car in the drive. She asks Marlowe to leave her there. Marlowe decides it had been a nice evening with a nice girl and he will have to be content to leave it at that. But then the next day Marlowe receives a call form Inspecter Matthews to tell him a dame had been murdered...
