The darkness of a moonless night shrouded the town of Box Creek. The houses and stores were dark, and the bank appeared to be as dark and deserted as the rest of the businesses, but this wasn't the case. Four people, wide awake and alert were inside the bank. Three of them were hard-faced men, but the fourth was just a boy. They worked by the shaded light of a bullseye lantern on a big, iron safe.
