Some marriages may be made in heaven. But others for instance, those between older widowers and appraising divorcees in their mid-thirties sometimes appear to be calculated, practical arrangements. He acquires a glamorous companion, and she rises to a position far removed from her job as hostess in a restaurant, or part-time artists model. Then after the honeymoon, they become acquainted... She finds him dull, and he finds her naive and childish.
