Larry meets up with his pal in a coffee bar completely on edge that the next guy who walks in will be the one that's after him. He phones Boston Blackie to settle his overdue debt of $100. When Blackie enquires as to why the sudden payoff, Brown replies, "I'm leaving town Blackie, and now that you mention it, it's the kind of payoff I like".
