Johnny’s mother had always told him that if he acted good and decent all his life he would go to the land of milk and honey when he died that’s what she called heaven. But Johnny hadn’t been good until he finally went straight with a legitimate business when he was 40. He had his own apartment and a butler to pander to his every need. However he didn’t know that the woman he loved was married to his butler and ends up being put to the chair for murdering him. Surprised, Johnny finds himself in the land of milk and honey but it is not what he was expecting.
