The police department contacted journalist Mitchell to ask him to stop his article about the killer known as the Avenger. Mitchell thinks it is no coincidence that the five women who have been murdered in three months were all wearing red in their clothes. Now Mitchell has received an anonymous note inviting him to meet the Avenger at midnight.
