To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the company, in 1956 NBC created a series of shows called Recollections at 30. Using a vast number of archival recordings, Recollections at 30 would assemble some of these transcriptions into a 25-minute show. Today's show follows the theme of Labor Day, and includes President Roosevelt speaking on August 31st 1936.
