Multimillionaire Charles Kingston one of Boston Blackie’s closest friend buys a fifteen-story office block, which disappears overnight. The mystery is solved however when Blackie proves that the building Kingston was shown was not on the corner Kingston thought, all he bought is a vacant lot. After Blackie sees the men with whom Kingston made the deal one of them is murdered.
