We all like to receive letters and the Kingfish’s wife is no different from anyone else. The morning mail brought a letter to the Kingfish’s home and Sapphire was excited to be invited to spend any time over the summer with her cousin. And the Kingfish was praising the mail. Then later when another letter arrived from her brother Alonzo saying he was coming to spend summer with them the Kingfish declared “the quicker the government closes up the United States Mail the better it will be for everyone!”
