You've heard it said, good name in man or woman is the immediate jewel of their souls and I suppose what it comes down to for everyone is the reaction our name creates in others. Polly Preston still has to get used to the fact that her name has suddenly acquired meaning now she has a best seller book and an advance on a new book.  

Her new book is going to be about the small town that she grew up in named Killing Valley after the family who founded it and all the corrupt detestable people who live there. Her plan is to seek revenge on the people who destroyed her father even tough she knows it won't make her very popular.
