Kay Kyser is the Master of Ceremonies, and opens the show with a little cheeky flirting with his guest, Pat Friday. She then starts the program by singing, 'Iowa' for the servicemen of the Armed Forces. Next up is the Swing Wing from the first radio unit of the army air forces with Bugle Call Rag. and then Jerry Colonna  arrives with some comedy.
