Danny Clover was at Los Amigos Athletic Club on the second floor where a man had been slugged. Jesses Anderson and Marty Lane had finished doing their 10 lengths together had taken a shower and entered the locker room. Jesse found Marty going through his pockets and a tussle ensued ending with Anderson pushing Lane to the ground causing him a fractured scull. Danny Clover goes to Marty Lane’s apartment to break the news to Mrs Lane only to find her strangled to death.
