Well Lawyer Lum thought that he had figured out a way to clear Abner of all charges against him by entering a plea of insanity. However, this plan boomeranged when Squire Skimp, attorney for the plaintiff, demanded that a psychiatrist from the state mental hospital be brought to Pine Ridge to examine Abner.
