The Johnny A. Murder Case opened before Johnny A. was murdered. A was a gang leader who had killed an underling Nick Keating. Johnny A’s girlfriend Sunny Belmont had told D.A. Markham that before she left for South America. But while she was in South America a bomb destroyed part of her home and Johnny A’s dead body was found in it.
