It’s Randy Stones’ night off from the newspaper he works on and he’s lost for what to do. He took himself to Rush Street where you could feel comfortable sitting alone in a bar. It’s not long before a lady also alone introduces herself as Mary and decides to call him John. She’s apparently been stood up and suddenly when things seem to be going ok, Mary goes cold on him and suggests they leave. Gus the barman informs Randy that the guy at the end of the bar has been asking questions about Randy.
