Joe Barton brings a package to a butchers shop but in the package are stolen jewels and silver ware. Shortly after this Joe tells his fiancée Sylvia that he’s in a jam and won’t see her for a while and then he disappears. Joe’s parents come to Blackie and ask him to find their son.
