On his way home tfrom the office George has dropped in at the corner cigar store. Pops the ancient proprietor is quite interested in the yellow bouquet of roses that George is carrying. George is taking them home for Gracie for no particular reason when Joe Bagley enters the cigar store and tells George that if he gives Gracie the flowers she will think he has a guilty conscience. He persuades George to forget giving Gracie the flowers but then takes them home for his wife!
