Dane Carson and his companion were instant listeners as old Joe Finlay talked happily to a group of men in the cafe at Indian Creek - bragging to everyone about how luck has finally come his way... Nobody knows where Joe's claim is, but when Joe Finlay goes directly from the cafe to the cabin where Sergeant Preston is staying, he is followed. Joe's heading to Selkirk, but he wants to leave a map showing where his claim is with Sergeant Preston so that if anything happens to him, it can be passed to his nephew.
