Floyds of England issued a policy on a small brewery the Dortmund brewery against possible damage from a nearby construction project to the sum of $820,000. The building project was competition in the form of another brewery and J.P Dortmund owner of the Dortmund Brewery suspected that the competition had caused some malicious damage in an attempt to put them out of business.
