It's a seedy, sagging, down-at-the-heels building - it even looks tired. Well, it should I guess, since its at least one hundred years old. It was built originally as a mammoth show place, as a sumptuous, luxurious, town house with a self made, freshly minted millionaire. But all of that was in the distant past, another world, during a different incarnation. It has long since been converted into apartments - or flats would probably be a more descriptive term...
