Dr Watson describes the ingredients in the story of the Island of Death beginning with an almost deserted island set deep in a Scottish Loch, sprinkle it generously with the following assorted selections of humanity: one measure of evil scientist, a faint wisp of human skeleton, a considerable pinch of fat lady, a handful of professional contortionists and a dash of midget. Shake these ingredients well and add to the mixture a detective by the name of Sherlock homes and a Doctor by the name of Watson then season generously with fear, danger and sudden death…
