The hero of our story lived over 150 years ago, in a little village, somewhere in Central Europe. It was a village that the rest of the world know nothing about - but that's alright because the people of this little village didn't know very much about the rest of the world either. Our hero's name was Mendel, and one day, he had been summoned to appear before the local landholder, the Count, the imperial representative of the Emperor of France, Joseph himself.
