At 8 o'clock in the morning, Irma Peterson answered the door. It was the census taker, and by the time he was through with Irma she had the book in her hand, and she was asking him questions! Jane finally succeeded in dragging Irma to the subway station, so that they wouldn't be late for work, but Irma manages to find a way for them to be late anyway...
