Written by Mark Jerome Invitation To Happiness was made in to a Paramount picture in 1939 starring Fred MacMurray as fighter Albert 'King' Cole and now he plays the same role for Lux Radio Theater. It is a tenderly human story about a prizefighter and involves the woman who loved him, the son who hated him and emotions that were too strong even for a strong man who lived by his fists.
