When Roy and his wife Sally wake up to the shrill ringing of the alarm clock, it seems like a very normal morning. Until Sally realises with a shriek that she has gone blind overnight, as she can't see her husband. However, she soon realises a few moments later that she can see everything else - just not her husband. And standing in front of the mirror as he does every morning, Roy comes to the same realisation. He is invisible.
