Dr Brewster an American scientist arrived in Lucerne in Switzerland where he expected to be taken by a chauffeur to a quiet secluded cottage in the valley. However the chauffeur was working for Bollaire a criminal who intended to sell Dr Brewster, the most experienced atomic scientist in the US, to the country willing to bid the highest amount of money.
