The Lone Ranger and Tonto had watered their horses in the wooded stream, and were ready to continue on their journey. They could hear the distant bark of bloodhounds, which seemed to be headed in their direction. Suddenly, they saw a man, hiding in the water and reeds. The Lone Ranger recognized the man - an escaped prisoner - whose father had once been a good friend of his. The man's son had been convicted of murdering his uncle, but he was insistent that he had been framed, and was determined to prove his innocence.
