The first ten minutes of the show features Phil Harris doing standup and introducing the members of the cast. 

Tonight's show is called How To Repair A Living Room or There'll Be Lots of Sand For The Concrete Mother, I'm Coming Home With A Load. Alice comments to Phil that the living room side of the house  is sloping. It seems that last week Phil and Elliott broke one of the beams. Even though Alice tells them to get a contractor in to fix it they decide to do it themselves. How hard can it be and what could possibly go wrong!
