Aunt Martha and Aunt Louise have been moved out into the country to live with Roger and Ester, their nephew and niece. Roger and Ester have made it no secret that they think that their aunts are invalids and are too old to live alone. Since moving to the country, Martha and Louise have noticed strange things happening. Roger has put their house up for sale, he is refusing to let them leave, and now, their beloved cat has been poisoned.
