Roger Elliott otherwise known as the Man of Mystery is the ficticious host who welcomes you to The House Of Mystery and invites you to join him for a story telling session. Originally this was a weekday serial with Elliott relaying chapters of classic ghost stories to entranced and excited children who would get the chance to ask questions at the end of the story. In September 1945 it became a weekly show aired first each midday Saturday and then at 4:00pm on Sundays with each story being a 30 minute complete tale.
