Hosted by Jack Benny, the series was also called Paramount's Silver Jubilee. The show begins with the distinguished and world renowned conductor Leopold Stokowski expressing his admiration for Adolph Zukor's vision, courage and achievement in reaching every country in the world with his motion pictures. He is considered to be one of America's greatest men, but he began in much humbler beginnings in Hungary. In recognition of this, and to introduce the orchestra, the national march of Hungary is played in his honour. During the show, a whole host of famous Paramount stars appear, and as is to be expected, there is the usual hilarity from Jack Benny.
