Louise Miller wants to hire Spade and she’s got $95. She was going to be married to Ben Comiski but a few nights ago he was picked up on the street for holding up a store and placed in jail. He was refusing to see Miss Miller and she wanted to hire Spade to find out why and what was really going on.
