Luigi is homesick. He's just writing another letter to his beloved Mama Mia, back home in Italy. He had a dream last night, that they were all together again, living in Italy (although Italy was actually in America!) It's time for night school now though, so he signs off, and joins his classmates - where he gets very excited when Miss Spaulding tells him about a concert pianist who has just returned from a series of appearances abroad - one of which was in his home town in Italy!
