Hitchhiker, The

Broadcast: September 2, 1942
Added: Jul 23 2020

Orson Wells introduces and directs this classic radio broadcast. It is a gripping tale of a man on a journey from Brooklyn to California. The journey starts well enough but very quickly descends into a frightening tale of fear and paranoia. The sound quality for the first three and a half minutes is a little iffy, but it is still great stuff and well worth listening to.

NOTE: The audio quality of this story is hissy and heavy bass for the first 3 minutes and 29 seconds. After that the quality is very good.
